It’s been more than a year since Chachi unleashed Enjoy the View unto the planet. Now it’s time for something new! Join us May 21st at Dave’s on Broadway in Glendale to celebrate. Live music, drinks, and a new CD! Not bad for a Monday night, eh? Dave’s on Broadway Guess what? Chachi just finished recording their third album! Next up: mixing! After that… mastering. Then finally, they’ll send it off to the CD duplication plant and upload it to iTunes and such. Okay, some of you may have misunderstood my last post, declaring Chachi’s brand new album would be released “by the end of the year.” It [...] Good news: Chachi began recording tracks for a brand new album to be released by the end of the year. Randy flew out to Anoka, MN to catch up with Richard (who’s trying to get into yet another college) and managed to lay the groundwork for five new songs. Here’s a sneak peek [...] Chachi took it easy this summer. Jennifer went back to Singapore. Richard’s working in Boston. Will and Randy are taking it easy in the meanwhile. But fear not; Chachi will be back with a new album by the end of the year. To tide you over, here are a couple videos from [...] Dropping like flies… Jason’s last day was November 19th, so we’ve got an opening! Influences include Pavement, Beatles, Pixies, Beck, Radiohead, and similar. We gig all around Southern California on a regular basis. Bassist must be able to rehearse one night a week. Today we released our second album “Enjoy the View,” another DIY production from start to finish. Here’s how. Recording took place in two locations. Full drum set tracks were done at our rehearsal studio in Santa Fe Springs, everything else [...] Chachi will be the closing band! =D intimate accoustic set for our debut appearance in HOB!
